# Hopscotch

> OpenAI-compatible API. Send hopscotch/auto in a cost tier: low, balanced, or high. Name a model and that is what runs. List price, no markup.

Hopscotch is an LLM gateway. One endpoint, 150+ models. Auto is a slug you send on purpose, not a silent swap. Cost tiers on auto: low, balanced, high. Lower is cheaper. Higher is more capable. Failover is classified and documented on /routing; it is not the product lead.
